I had a bad experience with them. ordered a holster, and kept being promised it would ship soon. FINALLY, I was able to get someone to admit they had no clue on when they'd get them in. This was after I was told initially that they were in stock. I was able to cancel my order, and I won't do business with them anymore. If you search, others here have had similar bad experiences. |

I bought P90 mags from them and the service was 100%. Make sure you call them and make sure the item is in stock (ask them 5-20 times). My P90 mags came as advertised, and even had the nice blue FN boxes. They beat out everyone else's price. If the item is not in stock, you might be in for a long wait... |

Botach sucks, they tried to screw me on a order as well, had to get my bank and CC company to get my money back. I ylled at the lady on the phone over there and she explained they dont have stock. They take the orders at their office and have other companies send the stuff. That place is a sham. Ive been making it my lifes purpose to tell people to stay the hell away from them bastards. If one person listens, and spends their money elswhere its worth it to me. THEY SUCK! |
My P90 mags came directly from Botach. You HAVE to make sure they are in stock before ordering. Do not email them, call them up via phone. |

Unfortunately for me I didn't know about the Rep. Charlie, I understand what your saying about asking, but when you purchase online, it should tell you if the item is in stock or not. Which it or their website doesn't. I placed the order online. All the other companies that I have ordered with in the past, if you put something and go to checkout, it shows if the item is in stock or not. TX99, your right, they are just a store front, and in all honesty I don't understand how them make any money selling considerably cheaper than the manufacturer. Plain and simple they suck. I am glad that you got your mags Charlie, but it seems that almost all of the others have had an issue with them, I guess add me to the list of dis-satisfied potential customers. |
| I TOTALLY understand. Their online ordering SUCKS. However, if the item is verified to be in stock over the phone and you place it over the phone, you should get an email within a few minutes saying it is ready to ship, etc... Again, you have to call them. They have a F- BBB reputation and overall are pretty craptastic but mostly because of the online ordering. |

I know of ALOT of people have had issues with them... I have been fortunate in that I have had excelant service from them. I ALWAYS ALWAYS call to verify stock & place my order. I get an order # and tracking # via email shortly there after. But they do have customer service issues. David |
Was that recently? Because when they do get it in stock they re-charge your CC and ship the product. Then they won't return phone calls and you're stuck selling it on EE. The sorta' good news is their price is so low, I made money by selling on EE. |
Sorry to add to the negative "vibes" but........out of 5 orders I've placed with them (over a 2 year period) they screwed up 4 (combination of wrong items sent, long wait for delivery and one case the combination of both a long wait and then wrong item delivered). All 5 orders were physically called in with confirmation of product in stock and all orders I placed were RUSH delivery where I paid extra. Only reason I continued to place orders was because of their great prices on the particular products I needed.......never again though. You know how the saying goes.....once, shame on you....twice, shame on me.....3, 4,and 5 I'm just plain stupid.

| I just ordered a pair of Peltor Comtac IIs apparently they were in stock as I ordered them monday and they are ready for pickup for ups but wth I really wanted to get them before a shoot this weekend and 3 days to ship is unacceptable. I won't be ordering from them again. |

Botach has excellent prices and alot of good merchandise, but it's your call if that's worth it to you to take chance. I've ordered numerous times with them and only 1 time did my order come out perfectly. I've saved a few bucks, but it's not worth the effort or the possibility that you'll be one of the many that got screwed. So, basically it's hit or miss. You're going to hear both sides, though, but a company shouldn't even have that many negative stories, so that should give you a warning to just order someplace else. It's a shame, because Botach has the capability of being a great source for part. |

I have ordered from them only once. Terrible customer service. Never answered the phone, but they did reply to emails in 4-5 days. I got my order in about 6 weeks after i placed it, everything was as advertised and they even called me several times to let me know items were not available and allowed me to change my order with other items. I will not do business with them again, but I did not get ripped off. Ozzy |

WOW, an F rating. Man, they are an awesome company!!! I only wish that I would have known sooner, I would have placed more than one order!! Thanks for the link Fister. I really appreciate it. I am gonna go ahead and file a complaint and see if I can't add to their impeccable rating. LOL |

+1 on hit and miss In the past I've had decent results from them--about 3, maybe 4 years ago. Just within the beginning of this year, I ordered some stuff that was out of stock--no prob, I don't mind the backorder. I call them and confirm that they are out of stock and was informed that it'd be a month. Again, that's okay. I called them a month later and I get the same story. Then a few weeks after that they call me (0600??) and indicated to me that they will never get stock on one particular item, but the other items are in stock. Okay then, I said, but then the total would be less than $100 and I would get reamed with enormous shipping costs. So I cancelled the order. A week later I get a package from them. I check my CC and I find out that I out charged for the items and more on top of whatever shipping they quoted me. So I return the package to sender and send an email for a refund. Couple of weeks later I get no response. I call them, get hung up on/put on hold for an hour/can't get through/etc. for the next 3 months. Then, finally, I get through. They confirmed the package was returned and that their finance department would be sending me a refund on my CC. A month after that, I get 1/7th of the full amount refunded back. Now, I've contacted them again and am waiting for the rest. So far time elapsed is approx 5 months. How's that for business? |

Don't buy from Botach. No matter how cheap their prices may be, they have an unacceptably high rate of bending you over a barrel and fucking you up the ass. They shorted me some glock mags, refused to answer my emails about it, and then when I called them on the phone they insisted that someone at UPS must have opened up not one, but TWO essentially tamper proof tyvek envelopes just to steal a couple mags out of a whole shitload of them. Botach is like that proverbial chick that no one would screw with a borrowed dick and someone else pushing. |

I have never ordered from them and IMO there are too many good dealers out there and in this forum that are tip top..... I don't care what the cost is, I will pay extra for the service, that is it. I would not order water from Botach...never, based on these responses. 77Bronc |
| I got family in California pretty close to their office, if they don't give me a full refund, then I will just take a flight out there to see some family and then stop by the office for a little one on one. I figure if I raise enough hell in the office for a few days, then I should get some results. Hopefully it won't come to that. |

This place does have good deals.......but it is "hit or miss" on whether or not you will get your order filled. If there is a problem with your order -- forget it --- they have NO customer service to speak of. I have had orders not show up ............... and after finally getting someone on the phone [ they probably answered the phone by accident ] the person said " Oh well !! "................ not we are sorry, can we fix the problem for you. The person NEVER offered to fix the order and get the product sent to me. I will never order from this company again .......... no matter what the enticement JF. |
They screwed up three orders in a row for me a few years ago. I swore I'd never order from them again, but couldn't say no to their price on Glock magazines last year. They got that order right. So that's a 75% fuck-up rate. They really aren't worth the hastle. Good luck getting your problem straightened out--I hope the person who answers the phone at least speaks English coherently

I did that, called them and they said it was in stock, that was the last I heard from them, every time I called the person I needed to talk to 'wasn't available', never called me back, never returned my emails, when the order finally showed up about 8 weeks late they had double shipped the order!!!!! What a bunch of MORONS! I thought about how much trouble I had already gone through and figured out it would be as bad...if not worse trying to return the double shipment, so I just kept it, figured I would use it in the long run. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! |

What asses. I finally get ahold of somebody to cancel my order. and your not gonna believe this, well, I guess you will, but 2 days after I spoke with a Sonya over there to have the order cancelled, They billed my frickin CC card. What pricks. I should have checked sooner, but I didn't so now I gotta see what happens. MY CC company says that they can't do anything till the payment posts to my account, it is still a pending transaction. So we will see. They need to shut their doors and save people the grief. |
| Well, since the first impression is a lasting impression I will never order from them. Way back in 2000 I was in the market for a Galco holster. I found they had the best price so I called to order it. The guy on the phone could barely speak English and I never understood if they had the holster or not. It sounded like the guy was on the phone in a garage. I decided against sending them $50 for a holster I may or may not ever receive. |
| I guess I've been lucky. I got everything I ordered, and quick shipping. Well, I did order a pair of boots from them and a G2 light a few years ago; I waited two weeks then gave them a call. They next dayed my stuff and gave me a SF Z3 instead of the G2. Not bad for their screw up, and they made up for it. |

I have made 2 orders with them in the past and have had problems both times. The first was a tac sling for my rem870. When I called to find out where my order was a month after the funds were pulled from my account. I was told they did not have the quick disconnect and were waiting for new stock to arrive. I would have been nice to recieve an e mail or phone call telling me this after they already had their money. The other was a sale on 511 pants. Out of the color I ordered, but still no call or e mail. I will not be doing any business with them again. |

I actually ordered P90 mags from them twice. The first time, I made the mistake of emailing them to ask about availability. I placed the order online and waited several weeks. My card was NEVER charged. I called them up and cancelled the order (no problems). The next time I ordered, I made sure to call them up first and make sure they had them in stock. |

If you want to TRY and buy from Botach... STEP one. Go to Yahoo and make up a new email address to order from. I have been trying for almost four years to get them to stop sending me spam emails, 4-14 itmes a week. I've tried many number of ways without any luck. When I TRIED to order from them the item was out of stock. Not just out of stock, but they dropped the item and were no longer going to stock it. Of course they never bothered to let me know this. It was only after waiting for the item for three plus weeks that I was able to get a reponse saying they no longer stocked it. Well thanks a F'ing lot! Now when people ask about buying from Botach? I say RUN!!!!! I need a replacment part for a Streamlight. The only place on-line selling it is Botach. So my light remains broken because I won't deal with them. |

I placed an order for Peltor hearing protectors and a cheek pad on 4/16. Nine days later, nothing. I send an email requesting they cancel my order. Next afternoon I get an order confirmation and an hour later, shipping confirmation. Oh yeah, only one item shipped - no idea which one. Typical botach shit. But the prices were alot cheaper. Is it worth the BS?

I've bought from them three times - Once by phone, once via the internet, and once in person. The only order that wasn't screwed up was when I went in person. FYI - They don't have an actual store. It's an old building on a corner in LA, and if you didn't look close at the address, you'd go right by. The doors are not open to the public, and when you go in you'll find the place filled with racks 15-16 ft tall, loaded with plastic bins and boxes of gear. In the back is a vault (I think the building was a bank at one time) for the high value items, a table/processing area for orders, a small "customer service" area where internet/phone orders are taken. Upstairs is a management office. I was amazed at the amount of stuff crammed into a realitively small building. In fact there's so much that they had trouble finding some of the items I wanted. At first they said they didn't have a couple, but then one of their employees found them at the very top of a rack, behind other stuff. They seemed like decent people running the business, but they need to invest in some sort of inventory management system and more/better customer service personnel. |
