*Not related to Braceman* but regarding extra holes....about a year ago I saw a classified ad for a Bushmaster AR lower locally with a drilled third pin hole. I mean seriously....I don't if some people are just idiots or if its entrapment. A lot of people who collect or shoot do not understand Federal gun laws or are dismissive of them so it pays to know who -- or what you are dealing with. Not a fan of ATF but some people make their job way too easy. I don't think the current ATF is like the Janet Reno style ATF. Don't care for them on principle of the 2A....but I don't care for traffic tickets either. This guy could be completely innocent. I also know people who have had encounters with ATF because they did something stupid. Usually it involves doing something illegal and than bragging about it. I have too much to lose with my current job to be playing games with felony charges. |

I am developing a way to weld a demilled front half with a 80% rear. I have run some tests and it is working. Once I complete a lower I will take it to the range and conduct firing stress tests. I will keep everyone posted on my success, we need a new option for restoring demilled rollmarked lowers. |

It shouldn't be under any significant stress. Hydra lowers are 2 pieces (sliding apart aft of the magazine well) and they hold up fine. |
