| Anybody heard of an AR-15 brand named American Spririt. Made in Arizona. |

It is, but (as I've said before), they're INSANE to keep such a sullied name. And you have to assume that any ASA rifle encountered in the wild is questionable at best, as there's no way to know if it's a post-Bob gun or not. And, honestly, I don't know anything, good or bad, about the new folks, and this is a case where no news isn't good news. -Troy |
Really my only question was your statement about the company being defunct, as I was under the impression they were still in business with new ownership. I've never owned any of their products, and probably never will, so I have no opinion of either their old products, or the current ones being manufactured by the new owners. I will say that if some of their products and service under the new ownership started getting great reviews within the industry, I would be willing to give them a chance. I do wish them the best however in trying to turn the company around. I think it would be great if they could manufacture a HIGH QUALITY line of products. Good for us consumers, and the industry in general IMHO. |
