The pin that holds in the trigger and sometimes walk out, has anyone here had one break on you?
I was shooting and didn't notice the pin was gone until later that day and found 1/2 the pin on the bench with a break. How often does this happen? I know this particular gun has a tendency to have the pins walk on it, but I have never lost a trigger pin or had one break before and I have owned AR's for 15 years. |

Hammer spring properly installed? As to your question... I have never had one break nor have I ever witnessed one break. |

It could be the hammer spring wasn't installed correctly, but I had a couple thousand rounds through the AR before this happened. Maybe just some bad steel? One twist, it isn't a standard AR, but the ZM/Para-Ordnance one that lets you fold the buttstock. The recoil spring is actually above the barrel. Maybe different recoil stresses? Although the ZM lower seems pretty damn close to a mil-spec. |
