So I have had this cheap Simmons scope on my Ruger 10/22 for a few years now. The rings that came with it were crap so I ended up getting better ones. I sighted it in no problem and put it back into the safe. Well today I decided to do some shooting with it and took it out to the range. This is what I saw. Did I break it somehow? It been siting in the safe for about 6 months untouched.
MS paint skills will show what I am seeing since I could not take a good picture of it. I fired about 200 rounds though it today and it was perfectly accurate at 50 and 100 yards.

The horazontal line does not match up and one side seems to not be touching the rest.

Well, it appears your scope has a wire reticle, and said wire has broken.  Time for a new scope.

Why put yourself through that?  There are lots of options available to you today at reasonable prices.  Get a new one, or go back to open sights.
