Well today i discovered some issues with my new brownells 30rd mag (no problems were experienced when using a 30rd pmag, so it has to be this magazine).
Here are the issues: 1) when 5rds remain in the magazine, the 2nd round closest to the follower slides back and forth 2) The last round in the magazine shoots out of the magazine (immediately after the previous round is ejected out of the weapon), and jams up the weapon anyone have solutions? needless to say i'll be contacting brownells soon. |

The part in blue. Brownell's will make it right, most likely. If not, you're out $10 or $12. Or you could try the guts from another magazine and see if that fixes it. |

| just a quick update: the problem is gone. i was trying to figure out if it was a spring issue, or if a tolerance was too tight, then releasing suddenly, shooting a round out, and I think it was. What i ended up doing was fully loading and unloading the mag about 5 times, and then at the range she got more use, and now it works like a charm. My guess was that the follower was catching on the body of the mag. |
