swfa has a pretty nice package going on right now for a leupold mark ar mod1 around 359.00 for the scope , mounts , 40 round p-mag and 40 rounds of ammo . if thats to rich for your blood check out primary arms 1x4 x 24

The Primary Arms 1-4 is a excellent scope for the money.

Mine is mounted on a 458 Socom and has stood up to 500+ rounds and still functions perfectly.

I just picked up a vortex crossfire 1x4 with a swfa ssalt mount for $219 seems to be good glass for the money, they also have a leopold package with the same mount for 319

What is your budget range? You should try to get the best glass you can afford.  You don't have to go high end, but there is some pretty bad stuff down in the cellar.

Buy once, cry once. I have a luepold mark AR and it's decent. It's not actually 1 power though.... More like 1.5.
