Do the buffers in issued A2 rifles have those "wine" colored bumpers like the first buffer pictured, or are they green (yellow) like the second buffer pictured? Thanks

Were they your military issue rifles or personal rifles? Thanks

+1 of the ones I can remember.

Can't say I was as attentive to buffer color when getting issued an M16 wasn't considered an insult, though.

I just pulled the buffer from a  A2...it's anodized greenish gold like the second buffer..and the polymer tip/bumper is..yeh..maybe wine colored,,although mine is darker..almost brown.

Pretty sure it's a genuine Colt M16 A2 buffer..that's what this rifle is made from. This being a Century A2 and anything identifiable is used Colt M16 A2 parts...although this buffer has no markings.
