IMO, they smooth out the feel a bit,  It gives the carbine a "bounce" instead of a "smack" if that makes sense.  I have not run one much, but I know of a few who have.

Funny that they make that roduct, but the description seems that they do not know what they are talking about...

stopping the bolt from directly contacting the receiver.

The bolt carrier contacts the buffer spring.  The bolt does not contact the receiver?!?!

I tried the search but Buffer Technologies    came up with nothing.

Anybody else use one of these??

I had one with my long ACE skeleton stock and noticed nothing.  Your mileage may vary.

I would just go ahead and buy an MGI or Enidine.  Expensive though.  Of course, so is everything having to do with this $%#^&*@ habit.
