There's a question like this on the AR basics forum. I did a quick search for the guy and found a carbine set on DPMS. Don't remember odd the soccer was part of the set. It may be the one piece that you need to get separately. Check out heavybuffers.com, for the weight, but I think that DPMS set will just work.

ETA the post was actually posted just today in this forum.

Two different types:

DPMS - standard receiver extension, shorter buffer, and beefier spring.
AR10 - longer receiver extension, standard length carbine buffers (H series), and a different beefier spring

Choosing between the two?  Well, which would you rather have standard with the AR?  The receiver extension or the buffer?

I found this set up to cycle very well on my TM/DPMS 7.62 with every thing I have ran thru it.

Having it actually work > Parts compatibility with a different rifle.

AR10 carbine assembly FTMFW.

Protip:  You can also use the Vltor A5 receiver extension as it's practically the same dimensions.

Either way, some parts will be compatible the tube or the buffers....

My standard length extension and short heavy buffer works well, too.

You just have to keep all the parts together.  A long extension AR or Vltor, with a DPMS spring might not be optimum.  Similarly, a AR spring in a short extension isn't going to work well.

I grabbed a 6 position cmmg for 308 dpms buffer is only 3.8 so might upgrade that.  Was $45 total.
