I was just wanting to know if any lower receiver will accept any buffer tube (mil spec or commercial). The reason I am asking is I just got a GTVC billet receiver on a 50 beowulf upper and wanted to swap stocks with another ar that I have and I couldn't get the a2 stock buffer tube to screw in the GTVC lower but I took it off a DPMS receiver. I have just never ran into this problem before.

I was thinking it would but it just got tight after 1 thread and I didn't try to force it. And yes I tried it a few times and i'm pretty sure I didn't have it cross threaded. Thanks I will try it again.
