So this box happened to find its way into my life on Saturday.

This is the MEGA MATEN MKM set with the extended-length handguard. Planning on building it into an 18" sorta-precision rifle. It's going to have a PRS on it for a stock, but other than that I'm undecided so far as to parts. I'd like to put a Lilja barrel on it, but I'm waiting to find out if it's compatible with the barrel nut design (manual says it shouldn't be, but people have apparently done it).

Anyway, this will be my first .308, so I'm excited

Mmmmmm sexy!!! I have and 18" SPR and have a timney trigger. Everyone will recommend a geisselle but I'm not a fan of two stage triggers. I used the RCA nitride coated LW BCG. It's pretty slick, literally.
