So, FINALLY went and got the Lower, and put that together in like 20 min. It was NOT as hard as i had thought. it was actually super easy! Have shot her twice already, the first time was 380 rounds, the second, well we shot a crap ton. not exactly sure how much lol.

here are a few pics:

(this is not me shooting her, just a friend of my brothers)

No, just one. The one behind it is the attachment for the Blackhawk 1 point sling. Its the one i had on my service rifle over in Afghanistan, but im debating on the usefulness of it in a non-combat, non-loadbearing layout.... so i dont have the sling attached lol

Nice stick! Those PSA lowers and LPKs go together like a hot knife through butter, don't they?

I thought it was supposed to replace the end plate, and I am positive it is supposed to go in front of the castle nut..

you sir are wrong. It is in there just as I had it on my Service rifle in afghanistan, and just like the instructions said that blackhawk sent with it. It just sits in with two small screws. its made to take out fairly easily.
if i were to put it in front of the castle nut, i wouldnt be able to get the sling on... Trust me, its on there the way its supposed to be.

An odd product I guess, I thought it was one of these or something similar to the Daniel Defense QD End Plate.

Cool your jets just a bit, and before Admin smacks me down...I am an Air Force guy that has deployed too many times to count!  Just because an armorer puts something on a rifle in the desert doesn't mean he did it right.  The US Army doesn't follow tech orders like we do...they will mount anything any way they can.  If Blackhawk mounts their stuff like this, then so be it.  It looks funny mounted that way.

The poster is just trying to help you out, because you would not be the first person to mount something incorrectly.  Look at the items below.  The first is my rifle with a Noveske end plate with the QD designed to go into the end plate.  Also, the second photo is a Daniel Defense, and I am pretty certain that it mounts the same way as photo one.  This is what the poster is referencing.  If you want something more "finished" looking, look into these items.  The sling is a very important item especially when people are shooting your firearm that aren't really trained to use/hold one...It might be the difference in knocking off/breaking a scope or BUIS.  With the heat you and I go through in FL (Pensacola), you want to remove the sling after use so it doesn't cause rust, corrosion, or other.

ETA:  How'd your Sister-In-Law like eating the brass?

I don't think it's her fault.

As you can see, the LOP is just too long for her.
Someone needs to collapse the stock all the way for her.

The stock position is only part of her problem.

That is a unique product.  I have searched for it and can't find anything like it.  Interesting...that is for sure!  The more I look at it, the more I like it.

I haven't seen any, but would really be interested in its performance.  Looking for an optic for my build and am leaning towards CompML3 with a 2MOA.  This would be right up my alley and a little cheaper, and as far as I can see without handling the only thing I would be losing out on is battery life.

OP, you did good imo... decided middy which does soften the recoil some, and went lightweight on the furniture.  I can tell you spent some time thinking how you wanted it laid out.  Nice job.  Also Kudos for getting the family and friends involved, spreading the disease like a good little arfcommer should do .  BTW, we all have at least one family member that can be annoying, and I am special since we have not 1, but 2!

lol thanks!! Yeha, there are some things I want to change on her, one being the verticle grip.. wanting to go with the angled grip instead.. just feels better, more stable IMO.  Other than that, maybe a better trigger down the line, but im happy with her! The biggest thing i need to change is to have more ammo in my closet! lmao
