I do want to build a 7.62/ 3.08 AR with all these "spare" parts. Now I see that AR15 members have talked Bill into making a new trigger over at Geissele (maybe the SSS), might have to start getting parts ready for another build. The girlfriend has been supportive so far, but I am probably driving her crazy with this BRD. |

Is this how you make "friends" where you are from... "Why didn't you do another penis KeyMod forend?" Next time tell me I have pretty eyes or something. because everyone and their mother is running them........that's what I use this forum for, I basically run the exact opposite of everyone else...no magpul, no KMR, no aimpoint, no hip cool edgy cerakote! OP, nice looking rifles BTW.......how do you like your diamondhead rail? The ergonomics look amazing....... |

OP, congrats on the rifles

I'm just a recreational shooter, who likes to put a few rounds down range with my friends on the weekend, and I don't need to dress up my rifle like I'm auditioning to be an extra for the next Hollywood Spec Ops movie......I don't run a vert grip three inches from my mag well, I don't run a flashlight, I don't need a $1,000 ACOG and neither does 95% of the range/mall ninjas I see everywhere these days! I don't wear tapout t-shirts, I don't have a monster sticker on my lifted truck that never even sees the dirt! |

I am aware...and I have no issue with this....but the majority of spec/team guys don't frequent these forums because it's against SOP, and something that is frowned upon. not everyone in the military who uses a gun is "on the teams". thanks for the heads up......are you LE/MIL? I "run" Aimpoints, just because they work, and have for me for many years as a recreational shooter. I have had bad experinces with cheap optics on rifles as recreational shooter. Just lucky me, I suppose. I don't however, own the Tapout T. I think it's just the generalizations you throw around about certain components, and coatings on rifles as they equate to all people who own them, that blows. All good, brother. I just like to shoot, and a little cerakote never killed a puppy...at least not in the mall.

Took it to the range yesterday and learned a couple important lessons... don't forget the range box And feed the hungry teenager BEFORE going to the range. So, not only do I have problems with FTF very first round chambered, I also have to deal with the starving 125 lb "eating machine".
This is the very first time I have gotten factory ammo without a powder charge, and I wanted to share. Pic of dud ammo... http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q132/celeiphart/protection/IMG_0478.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q132/celeiphart/protection/IMG_0479.jpg So after what seems to be an eternity, a fellow shooter shows up with a cleaning rod to extract the problem round. Once that was resolved the trigger was like playing with two big titties (or four if that is your thing So I guess my take on this trigger is, if you shot 3 gun, or there is a zombie apocalypse this is the trigger for you. It really is a fast trigger, but I am still considering trading it out. It is bordering on the line of practicality. As for the questions about the Diamondhead rail, it is ergonomic. It is not a key mod. I like it enough that I switched the JP rail off the other rifle and replaced with the Diamondhead. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q132/celeiphart/At%20the%20Range/1f5f0b18-e1dd-4fc9-9869-09d4a68745db.png |
