Looking to use a White Oak Arm upper with 20" barrel and pinned rear sight
and putting it on a Rock River Arms A-2 complete lower with 2stg. trigger.
Anyone familiar with these together, from what I've heard they are good
on there own just haven't heard if anyone has put the two together and if there
were any issues I might want to avoid

If they are both within specs, you'll not have an issue.

if you're just trying to assemble an upper onto a lower, it should be no more difficult than pulling out the takedown/pivot pins and assembling it.

Due to tolerance stacking, they may go together too loose, too tight, or just right. RRA lowers are notorious for their "extremely" tight fit to uppers, to the point where you may need a mallet to assemble and a punch/mallet to disassemble.

You may like this or absolutely hate it. Either way, a tight upper to lower fit is personal preference and generally has no impact on function/accuracy of the gun.

When assembling ARs a lot of it comes down to sheer luck with regards to fit and finish matching from different manufacturers.
