I'm thinking for my next build i am gonna go the .458 socom route, I obviously will need a 458 barrel, bolt and larger diameter gas block,
I have also read that one needs to widen the ejection port, Is this something I can just dremel the ends of a spare upper i have lying around? Or do i need to get a purpose built upper reciever? Id like to assemble it myself, as I already have most of the parts lying around, and building ar's is half the fun. Thanks for the help |

I'd suggest becoming a member of the 458socomforums site; COLD, one of the Mods for this forum.,owns/runs the site. Tons of great technical info, that is specific to the 458S platform.
