| Isnt there printable documents on this site for instructions of a guide to building an AR i cant find it. If someone could post the link i would appreciate it. |
| They have a thread on it how to install, the 1st time I would just reference the thread then go back to assembling. Its very easy.. but make sure if you use pliers etc.. pad them well... bolt hold open latch button thing got a little scratched because pliers didn't have enough tape etc on it. Other that scratching the lower its very easy to assemble an ar. |
| building a ar isn't hard just few things to watch out for. put your safety lever and detent in before you trigger group support the ear when driving the roll pin for the floor plate in and use or make a roll pin hold punch for the bolt catch pin and when it gets close use a brass punch with tape around the area. any questions just ask |

I am a newbe as well, just assembled my first AR this past month. There is a lot of good info on here and else where on the web. Go to YouTube and watch several videos before you assemble. Watching you will pick up different helpful tips from each one. One tip I found useful was to find a pin or I used a allen key slightly smaller than the pin I was installing and lined up the parts and installed it from the backside, then when installing the actual pin, your parts are lined up and you just push it out with the actual pin. I found this especially useful for the front take down pin. I am proud to say , that I didn't have to chase down a single spring or detent. The only only place you can't use this is on the rear triggered guard pin as mentioned above, it has to be supported. The other thing I would probably do differently, is add the set screw retention for the safety detent. I found the spring the most difficult to keep aligned while installing the stock.
It's not hard if you do your homework first and if you still have questions or run into a problem, get on here and search for the answer or ask for help, as there are a lot of good people on here with many years of experience. Good luck and happy shooting, TC |
