| Newbie here...............great site. I live in the Socialist State of New Jersey. Do you feel my pain? When I retire i'm headed to PA.......... After 9/11 was when I got my firearms permit and my small collection of handguns, rifles and shotgun. In catalogs and on websites I have seen parts for sale or an actual AR-15 or AK-47 rifle with the receiver made inoperable. If a lawabiding American citizen wished to build their own rifle for future self protection incase of a really bad attack on our country is it possible to have parts shipped to NJ? Just a hypothetical here...............Thanks. |

Why not just buy an AR-15. You can go into a gunstore in NJ and buy a 'AWB compliant' AR-15. Otherwise you'll have to find a dealer to order you a lower receive, go through all that hassle of picking out the right AWB compliant kit for you then assembling it. Big hassle, because after you do it once, you'll find you'll be doing it againg, and again, and again and.. Well you get the idea. Talk with the guys on the AK side of the board about building AK clones from parts kits. A bit more work - but they seem to enjoy it. |
