I have been hunting for direction as to what all I need to order to compete a build for a complete upper for my MAG Tacticle AR pistol. I want to build a 22lr upper. I would like to use the MAG tactical upper due to my lower is also a MAG. Other than the upper can I get some help with what components I must have to complete the build?

Any of the Atchisson-derived 22lr conversions which are compatible with those types of barrels. I use a CMMG, and have heard many good things about the TACCOM3G bolt. You'll probably want something to cover the muzzle threads - be it a brake or suppressor or just a thread protector. |

If you were to stick with CMMG for that, you'd want something like this http://www.cmmginc.com/product_p/22ba487.htm, and some magazines if you don't already have some. You can order just the collar for that barrel from CMMG, and it should be compatible with any Atchisson-derived 22 conversion bolt assembly, such as Taccom3g, Spike's, Tactical Innovations, Ciener. That barrel will NOT be compatible with conversions based on the Colt, Air Force or Army Conversions, which includes DPMS. You'll also need a charging handle and all the other normal upper parts, except you won't need the gas system parts. |

CMMG Stainless bolt for sure. Get their .22 charging handle too as it prevents shells from getting stuck on top of the carrier (common issue).
Also get Taccom's reliability kit. Comes with a better firing pin and a tension plug to stick in the buffer tube and keep the bolt tight. |

Get one of these and don't look back...Excellent price to value ratio...Got one for the family...
The one we received looks like its well made and it was factory test fired prior to delivery... It comes with one 10 rnd. magazine by Black Dog Machine. All the steel parts are Melonite treated for added durability, lubricity, and overall strength... You would have to have the barrel re-cut to your desired length though...and swap out the hand-guard to a pistol length version...
