I see some Manufactures say that the rear sight is on same plane only. Why would this matter if your front sight is a gas block flip up making up the distance for the same plane? Am I thinking this ok? Thanks

Probably to let the buyer know that they're standard height as opposed to a Micro which must be used in rail mounted sets.
