Hey guys I e got a Beretta Arx 100 that's a range/fun gun only and was wondering if a Burris ff3 or some other micro reflex sight would be a good primary optic. I don't wanna spend rmr money because then I could just get an aimpoint. Like I said this is for a plinking gun but I still want it to not crap out after one range trip. So just wondering if anybody has used these in their rifles. Any pics of one mounted to rifle would be helpful. Thanks guys.

They are tuff as hell, I think you'll like it.

Great little optic.  I have two FastFire IIIs, both on 12 gauge shotguns.  No issues with either one.

I just bought a ff3 in the ar mount (ar-f3) for $175 off the EE.  don't have it mounted yet, but it's going to be perfect on my 9mm build.

I use one as an offset close range sight on my 6.8 hunting rifle and like it, but if I was looking for a cheap primary red dot, I'd be looking at Primary Arms.  Their models will have a larger FOV and less color and distortions in the glass.

I really want one for my Carbine too.  If you get one, let us know how it goes.  I started a thread a long time ago about mini RDS on carbines and it was a good read.  I'll have to see if I can find a link.
