I recently traded for a Leupold VX-R 1.25-4x scope in a Warne Tactical R.A.M.P. mount. The mount has 45 degree offset portions of rail for mounting an offset MRDS. I am considering a Burris FastFire II for it, but am not sure of the quality of it. Is anyone running a similar setup, or have any experience with a FastFire II?

I have a Fastfire that has given me great service for about 4 years and continues to do so. I think the only difference from the Fastfire II is the latter is waterproofed. I have shot the original Fastfire in moderate rain with no issues, but I've never taken it swimming.

I also run Docters and J points and consider the Fastfire every bit as good as the Doctor, better than the J point.

I have two of them, both mounted on hunting ARs without illuminated reticles. I like the on off option and they are fairly rugged for field use plenty bright for how I use them, and good warranty. They can be tough to sight in but stay on zero well once there

I simply bore-sight mine and then fine tune them on paper if required...usually isn't at close ranges.
