What kind of co-witness do you get with this mount?

What are you putting in it? This mount typically holds a magnified rifle scope where you likely won't see the front sight and the rear will probably be down, if it's installed at all.

Also, from what I understand, you're not supposed to co-witness iron sights through a magnified optic anyway.

It would be going on a flat top AR. Aimpoint 9000sc is what it would be holding so no magnification.

On Burris' website they show this diagram
A - 1"
So the centerline would be 1.59" above the rail (which I believe is 2.8" over the bore center) so I'm thinking it will be lower 1/3.

smokenruger, what did you ever come up with for mounting the 9000SC? Were you able to get the lower 1/3 co-witness?
