I'm not exactly proud but I've became quite the parts snob. I'm finally finishing my all fde 6.8 build and I'm hung up on the scope mount. I have a Burris AR P.E.P.R. QD mount that's been laying around in my safe. The scope is a Vortex Viper HS 2.5-10x44. Is the Burris mount going to hold zero as good as my Larue mounts? Whatever I use is going to get a coat of Brownells Aluma-hyde II.
I can't wait to get done with this build, it looks better than I thought it would which I'm proud of. It's a sweet looking rifle imho. |
