I have owned many  Bushmasters over the years, some put over 10K through and only problems I ever had was on 1 the gas key screws came loose. Restaked them and ran until I sold
it. I dont think I ever had a jam or malfunction at all other than that.

I've owned 4 complete Bushmasters over the years, thousands of rounds. I've never had a malfunction. I still have 2 1/2 of them...

Not sure the reason for this thread, but mine has been 100% as well.

I've had an Olympic Arms battle rifle since 1990 with several variates of the Bushmaster and have had absolutely no problems with either except keeping a steady source of ammo on hand.  I had my gun dealer special order a couple of the BM's from the factory with upgrades and was pleasantly surprised that the final cost was on par with the shelf guns on local display.  i've been very pleased with the products and with each's customer service.  When I joined the forum, I was surprised with some of the unfavorable responses on the BM product.  Myself, I would have no problem making a recommendation for the BM line of product...

..... Nothing against the BM, it ran great, but it was time to upgrade.

Out of all my AR's my Bushy is the only one that NEVER malfunctioned. It has about 5k down the pipe and is my most reliable rig.

Aprox. 3,000 rounds through my Bushy, 1/3 of that was pretty hard shooting in two back-to-back days at the range.
No problems at all.

But for shits and giggles, I now have a Daniel Defense BCG in it.

I've been very pleased with the Bushy, but I wouldn't buy another. I think all my future AR's will be pieced together.

but...but...but according to the chart, it should've disintegrated and created a black hole soon after in it's wake after 100 rounds!

i'm happy with my bushmasters. i can't remember who posted it but there's only two types of rifles, those that work and those that malfunction. thankfully, i'm in the former camp. regardless, i still keep a bcm bcg & other misc spare parts just in case, properly staked my carrier keys and the bcg is swimming in slip2000 ewl.
