The IN DNR allows some types of rifles to be used during the deer firearm season. They are refereed to as "rifles with pistol cartridges". The bullet is to be of .357 inches in diameter or larger, the min case length is 1.16 inches and the max case length is 1.625 inches. The regs give a list of some types of legal rounds (that could be used out of an AR), included by name are the 458 socom and the 50 AE. I believe the 50 BW and the 450 BM have too long a case length.

I picked this up Tuesday, nib for $700. thanks, tim http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa253/nashvillito/2009_0513bushmaster4500031.jpg That was a hell of a price! If you want to sell it I know someone that is looking. As far as ammo hornady produces only one loading, but Remington is coming out with another load later this year. Availability in this political climate is hit and mis. I have done lots of reloading with lots of success. Edit - It is instock with midway and able ammo http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/BrowseProducts.aspx?pageNum=1&tabId=3&categoryId=19249&categoryString=653***690*** http://www.ableammo.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=10480_14658_14743_14909_16855 |
