I have a bushmaster A2 stock I'm wanting to change out with a collapsible stock. I know bushmaster has commercial buffer tubes, and I am aware that the commercial tubes are slightly bigger diameter the milspec tubes, but is the threading the same? If I was to buy a milspec tube, and stock would it fit into the bushmaster lower receiver?
Thanks, Gunther. |
| The threads on all tubes are exactly the same, just the tube diameter after the threads is different. If you are going to a collapsible tube, your current rifle tube won't work anyway. Just pick whatever kind of new stock you want, and get the kit that comes with the tube, buffer, and spring. |
