Well I went down to the local gun store today to get a combination hunting/fishing license and what did I see. A Bushmaster Lady! I asked the clerk to look at it and man is it light! But there where some things that I didn't like about it. They are not all that easy to take apart. The upper doesn't pivot and I can't say that I like the bolt or the buffer they have in them. And what is up with the air chuck like muzzle compensator on the and of the barrel? Oh well, I will stick to my real AR's.

So do it yourself.

It's been disassembled for further lightening so I don't know how much it weighs now but I've lost another 2 to 3 oz.  It should be at 4.2 to 4.0 lbs WITH FLIP-UP SIGHTS.  Any part could be replaced with its milspec counterpart and still work.  You could easily build it (as shown) for less than MSRP on a Bushwhacker Carbon 14.

That's a nice looking AR you got there. I can't believe the difference in weight between my 16 carbine and my M4gery. My carbine has a heavy barrel that I would like to get turned down and fluted. [8D]
