I ordered some C-product grey teflon mags but they are very shiny compared to the matte Bushmaster ones I already have.
Are the mags that come with Bushmaster rifles the same as D&H grey teflon? |

This is interesting. I wish I could get a correct answer for what I would think is a simply question. I emailed C-Products earlier today and asked them:
"I am looking for the same 30rnd magazines that came with my new Bushmaster AR15. Is your company the supplier to Bushmaster for them? If so, what are the specs that I want when I order them? (finish, spring, and follower)" This is the reply that I received: "Yes we are and they are a 30 round aluminum magazine, chrome silicon spring, grey anti-tilt follower, grey Teflon coating." I didn't think that the mags shipping with Bushmasters are teflon coated mags.... I wonder if the reply was suppose to state GREY MOLY COATING or MAR LUBE FINISH? (are those the same thing?) |
| I called C-Products for an answer. The Bushmaster mags were made with a dry film coating. All the mags shipping out from C-Products now are teflon coating. I would imagine that once Bushmaster uses there existing stock of the old mags, guns will then ship out with the newer teflon coated mags. |
