Do any of you Bushmaster experts have information on the differences between the Bushmaster Modular Carbine, model number BCWVMF-16F vs. BCWVML-16F?  I've searched the Bushmaster web site and documentation, but the differences are not readily apparent.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Here's an example from the Impact Guns web site (ignore the out-of-stock), there are two identical (except for price) appearing, identical spec Bushmaster modular carbines about 2/3 the way down the page.  the model number is listed for both:

I do not see any difference in the two, unless maybe one is marked "LEO", I'm just guessing...I have a Modular Carbine, only mine did not come with the bayonet lug or flash suppressor...It will have these items shortly though !!!!!!!!

Although it does not show it in the picture or description, I believe the difference is one of them would come with an Ace skeleton stock and the other w/ the 6-position M4 stock...LL

Thanks!  That's what I suspected, although I've yet to have a Bushmaster-definitive answer.  The Bushmaster site lists the skeletonized ACE stock as model # PCWVML-16F - I'm actuallty looking for the "normal" collapsible stock carbine version...

Have a great New Year!

Jim with the Bushmaster tech support team confirmed the model differences - the"VMF" version has the six-position telestock, the "VML" has the skeletonized ACE stock (LashLarRue was correct!).

I just added the VMF to my collection to keep the LE6920 company...
