| I have the chance to pick up my first AR10ish rifle for pretty cheap so is it worth $600? I'm not a big fan of Bushmaster (have lowers, just not thrilled about what they do with the working part of the gun) and I don't like the ORC set-up. However, this would be scoped anyway and function more as a target and hunting gun instead of the defense purposes of a few AR15s I own. Therefore, I'm thinking maybe the lack of adherence to tdp may not be so crucial and I'd never need irons anyway. Basically, does it function with surplus (Port, Aussie, SA are what I have stocked) and will it get 2moa with decent hunting 308? |

For $600, it's a no-brainer, IMO.
Unless the rifle is trashed, you're never going to be upside down on your investment and you'll have a VERY decent .308 AR, to do with what you will. I cannot imagine how ANY .308 AR couldn't be worth at least $600, so long as its functional or could be made functional with a minimum of fuss. |

No, I was thinking the same thing and that was the only 308. A few AR15 offerings I'm not interested in and no ACR either. Only the 783 in bolt guns and a bunch of Para 1911s |

I just can't leave anything alone.
