This is my "new" Bushmaster flattop carbine. It has a Millett Red Dot SP2 on it. It also has a BM fold down front sight. I will have to get a BUIS (back up iron sight) for the rear. The trigger is quite crisp. More mags, a take down tool, and a sling, and I'll be ready to go. It really does appear to be just about like new. It's a 4 year old rifle that's been sitting in a guy's safe. Here's a couple quickie pics:   |

I don't know about "on top". The Springfield was a Loaded model that had a lot of custom features added, as well as an action job. We both got something we wanted, for something we didn't use. It was a good deal in both directions! I have ordered a #38EX Swan sleeve for it, so I'll have a BUIS. I should have it by the weekend. I'm not sure what else I'll do for it. But I'm already thinking of getting a Varmint Upper................... |
