Did you ask/check with Fulton Armory, and industry partner? They have the older Colt 1/12  20" pencil barrels available.

I ordered mine at the beginning of Jan and email BM about two weeks ago, they replied:

" The superlight barrels have been averaging around 8 weeks from the order date to be shipped out. Your order was placed on the 4th of January and I do not think that it will be able to ship before the end of the month. We can leave the barrel on backorder and ship when it is available or we can cancel the barrel order if you like. Please advise on what you would like to do."

Clearly they are very optimistic about their delivery dates....

OK - here is the update:

<<the barrels are at the chrome plating stage right now... two weeks and they should be ready... your order will be one of the ones that ships>>

Well, after four months, I can wait a couple of more weeks

I also ordered one last year around november 04 and was told by a very nice guy at BM (in January 05) that it would be march or april before they ship. I will look for the email he sent.

The 16" superlight barrels are at "turn". This is the first step of manufacturing a barrel. It means that they are still about 5 or 6 weeks away.

Thank you Matt for the reply, but I would still like to know the tentative date on the barrel. The new wrench is fine as long as it is still the heavy duty style.

If you want to save on shipping wait and ship the barrel and wrench together (will not need the wrench until I get the barrel).

Thank you in advance,
Jason Burnette

The company that made the wrench that you ordered went out of business. We have located a replacement wrench for the same price and should have them available to ship within the next 2 to 3 weeks. We will email you the UPS tracking number when we ship it to you and it will be shipped at free shipping.
Thanks, Matt

All I can say is they sure must be busy!! Ordered it on Dec 01, 2004, and it will be March or April before I get it. It took nearly a month to get a reply on my first email. Bushy=worth the wait, yes/no

OH.....by the way. The date on the wrench was about right, I got it last week. And it sure is one hell of a wrench! About 14 inches long!! (...........thats what we all say.............)

You haven't checked out Bushie's forum in the Industry section have you?

Several of us have been waiting some time and the best we can get is "...at the chromer's. Should be another two weeks." But they've been using this line for at least 3 weeks.

I ordered mine on 12/1/04 and called them last Friday. "...at the chromer's. Should be another two weeks."

I figure at least another 4 to 6 weeks.
