On the Bushmaster site they list three different tool kits for assembling and dissasembling AR-15's.  I'm thinking about getting the Master Tool Kit - does anyone have experice with it?

Yeah, don't get it.  Only thing I ever use is the AR tool when I do a collaspible stock, the rest I forgot I even had.

Depends if you want to do complete dis-assembly/assembly.

The upper and lower receiver blocks are handy for many tasks besides barrels attachment.

You'll also need a barrel wrench, torque wrench and vise for dealing with barrels.

For common tools, I'd get them from Sears so you can get an exchange if they get busted.

Even the specialty tools come up on the Equipment Exchange every so often.

I reccommend the following

Roll pin set from Brownells, the set for the M-16/Ar-15, the sears set I saw didn't have a roll pin punch small enough for the gas tube.

Nylon punches from Brownells,

Armalite barrel wrench, Tourque wrench from Harbor Freight. I very rairly use a TW any more. I snug them up tight by feel, have never had one come loose as of yet.

Pair of snap ring pliers from your local auto parts store

DPMS Panther claw, the best fixture for barrelling and upper work.
