I have someone offering me one of these for $100 ... I only use my AR for plinking, shooting holes in paper, 2 litres and other assorted targets ...

Is this a good enough scope for doing that?

Good? Bad? Opinions please ...

I would imagine any type of sights is ok for that. I personally am not a fan of cheap optics and at $100 would rather have a good set of irons vs a low end optic, especially one that required batteries. My $0.02.
