OK. So I just received my new Bushy DCM Lower with A2 Buttstock, competition trigger (very nice, btw), and competition weight in the Buttstock compartment. I want to eventually use this for Service Rifle Matches so I went ahead and got it with that weight. Well, until I actually get into that for real I would really like the weight out so the gun doesn't weigh 8000 pounds. how

I'd open the compartment, then slam the buttstock against something so the compartment hangs over the edge in mid air. The momentum should remove the weight. The other option is just buy a new buttstock for like 30 bucks...

Thanks. I just slammed the crap out of it till it dropped. I didn't try that at first because I thought maybe there was an easier way...but hey whatever works. I would be totally lost without this website. hanks
