If you had to choose between a Bushmaster 20" A2 or A3 and an Armalite 20" A2 or A3 both in no ban configuration and both for the same price, which would you pick?

I would get the Bushmaster.  I have an Armalite, a twin would be incest.

Actually, I would probably flip a coin.  Tough decision.

Both are about the same, although I'd probably go with ArmaLite because I see Mark Westrom doing alot more public campaigning against gun control than Richard Dyke.

Armalite.

Bushmaster, the lower can accept a RDIS without machining.

Both are high quality though.

I would go Bushmaster for the 4150 barrel.  Not needed for a normal everyday shooter, but something to brag about, I guess.

Both are awesome.

Bushmaster.    No knock against Armalite,  I just have more experience with Bushy products and those experiences have all been positive.   I reward good companies that make good products by giving them my repeat business.

AR stands for armalite!

My first AR was an Armalite.
I still have her as well as a couple of others.

You never forget your first

Bushmaster,

They seem to just edge Armalite on some of those little but nice features.  Like barrel quality.

Yeah, but the original armalite was a division of an aircraft company.

Now, it's just a name.  Like the way Springfield Armory is now just a name.

Both are fine, but I own Bushmasters.

I used to say ABC to these threads but now I took C off the list...that is, until they change the policy.
