[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CBC Magtec

All...... New to the site. I have a S&W MP10 I just picked up that seems to cycle everything just fine (Hornady, PMC, PPU) but will not cycle Magtech CBC stuff. I get quite a few short cycles, and FTF. I am just going to stay away from it, but was wondering if anyone else had similar issues.

I'm hoping my SCAR doesn't have the same problem because that is all the ammo I have for it.

I had two failure to feeds with it in my m&p10 out of 30 rounds. Everything else I've shot with it it has shot fine. I've heard that once it gets broken in a little bit it should shoot it fine. It doesn't really matter to me since I'm out of it now.

That's all I've ever shot out of my SCAR and I haven't experienced any problems.

I have shot 500+ rounds of it. My bushmaster has no problem with it.

the cbc magtech 7.62 is junk. I could barely get spent brass out of my Rem 700. Something is out of spec.

When I first got it, it was short cycling everything. I noticed that the charging handle didn't easily slide back into position after I locked the bolt to the rear. Sent it back to S&W. They turned it around with a new BCG in about two weeks. Still doesn't like the CBC.
