The extractor seems to keep the bolt from closing fully. Causing light primer strikes. Any recommender fixes.

What type of ammo are you running? Notched or standard hammer? Is the kit new? Has it been dissasembled?  Should be an easy fix one way or the other.

What type of ammo are you running? = Remington 22 Subsonic, Remington Bulk, Federal Bulk and CCI CB longs.  Notched or standard hammer? =  It is a notched.  Is the kit new? = Yes.  Has it been dissasembled? =  No I cleaned and lubed contact rails with CLP, I did a 22 brush on a drill to remove the park from inside the chamber. It is nice and shinny now and will extract when it fires.

i  Should be an easy fix one way or the other.

It sounds like the Remington and the notched hammer are the likely culprits.  Good to hear you already buzzed it out and haven't removed the chamber adapter.  In our latest revision of instructions we do call out the notched hammer and remington as problematic.

Remingtons rarely run reliably in anything.
My Quebec has had over 3100 failure free rounds through it except the Remingtons. It will fire and cycle about 10. Then the feed ramp is so gunked up, it won't feed. I can clean it and ir will run about 10 more. Same thing.
Notched hammers can also be a problem. I think all manufacturers are recommending the rounded hammers now.

Remington's work in revolvers and 10/22's. Notched hammers, some will work, others won't.
I think Nordic says their uppers will work with notched hammers, I'm not 100% sure. All others
recommend rounded hammers.

Good Luck,
Dave

Well I can tell you that Remingtons don't work in my 10/22............
