Hello,
I remember reading of the new Evolution conversion coming out in June then July. I know they don't want to start selling them until they are ready. I see they're now selling a complete rifle called the Quebec that has the conversion in it. Anyone know when they'll actually start selling the Evolution Conversion Kits? Couple weeks? Months? |

CMMG's been answering his questions from his phone, I believe he's on the road. I'm sure that as soon as he sees your thread, you'll have an answer... Spec All kits going out he door now have live round extraction. We will begin testing latest prototypes this next week. Once tested, we will be running like crazy. Once testing is completed I will give ship date. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Stupid question time....
What is the CMMG Evolution Quebec A rifle? The website lists the complete rifle for only $550. Is that a fully dedicated mil-spec AR in .22LR? Spike complete rifles are much more expensive. What am I missing here? Does this use a modified Ciener type conversion bolt like the Spikes and Model 1 Sales? Or is it a different bolt system (like a TacSol)? Sorry for the ignorant questions. I'm researching/searching for a good dedicated .22LR AR and the cryptic comments about the new Evolution system have me confused. |

These use a milspec upper and lower and use one of our. 22 actions with a 1/16" twist dedicated barrel. We destined these with the bottom line in mind. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

What is the "Evolution" advantage over your previous systems? Is there a link that explains the new "Evolution" system? Once again... sorry for the stupid questions, but your "Quebec A" price has me interested, and I'd like to learn more about it. Other than price, what makes this a better system than the others? |

Also curious about what the difference is and when the "Romeo" versions will be out and what the difference will be (features, cost, etc) |

I think what's most impressive (innovation aside) is that the price point is about the same (sometimes less) as many dedicated upper solutions... I can't wait to see what the dedicated uppers will run and will be the first to order (hopefully preorder) one. |
