Greetings All,
I tried searching, but given that I"m not a paid member (yet, still thinking on it) it limits my searches. Either way, google was not able to specifically address my question. I bought a CMMG upper, 16', SS bull barrel..etc with a spikes tactical lower. The tube looks like... http://www.elitetacticalcomponents.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/c/m/cmmg11006_1.jpg ...Basically I think I just want a bipod and sling (not a 1 point sling, more old school style, standard black sling). I think I can either do that by drilling and tapping a hole in the tube and putting in a sling mount or have a gunsmith do it. As of now, I see zero options to do anything with that tube w/o modifications or upgrades. My real question is in regards to everyone else's experience. Is it generally known that these tubes get upgraded? I noticed the prices range from 100-250 for the various options. I don't MIND doing an upgrade, but I would want the underneath to be smooth for shooting and such if possible. Anyway, just looking for general input on that part of it. I appreciate it. |
