| I was at the range yesterday shooting my new CMMG Stainless Conversion after 50 rounds of CCI Mini mags I notice a wierd Jam. The Jam was under my charging handle. So I broke down the upper and When I took the rear pin out and Open it up the Recoil spring shot out right by my face and I notice the end plate of the kit was still on my buffer. The end plate from the kit broke right at the weld. The kit is less than 3 weeks old. It was from the august run from CDNN, I have been really happy with this kit until now. I thought that the Stainless Kit was stronger than the steel? Does CMMG have any warrenty on this kit? Pics of the failure coming soon. |
| We will get this taken care of for you right away. Please email the details and we will get this changed out. The first run of SST were welded differently than the most current. I haven't seen any of the newer ones come back. I will be curious to see what happened on this one. |
