My buddy has a post ban lower(we live in CT) and he is thinking about getting a cmmg upper with a permanently attached muzzle brake. Will they chop off the bayonet lug? Do they sell a front sight base with no bayonet lug?

the word that I get right now, (because of the buying panic) they are not doing "custom" work right now, they are doing all they can do just to fill regular orders.
but normally they would be happy to work with the customer.

thanks for the help. I guess my friend can just go to the local gunsmith as soon as he gets it, and the gunsmith can take it off.

Send it to ADCO or Denny's....Unless you have a great "local" smith...
