I took the plunge and picked up a CMMG lower assy complete with A2 buttstock. I plan on aquiring the A4 upper 20" 1 in 7" gov profile and put the halves together. I got tanked one evening and posted my intentions on the AK side.uhh...www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=64&t=93483...yeah I was pretty bad shape that particular evening my only defense is it's better than driving! I have owned and currently have examples of both systems and appreciate the pros and cons of each. I also suffer a somewhat twisted delight in reading the constant banter over which system is superior. an argument to which I say .45 ACP...yeah I know totally off the path but my humor is quite forced dry...give it a day or two. in either event. I got this little M4 civi-spec carbine running smooth...finally! and want to get a rifle, perhaps slap a scope on it and try some long range varmit shooting. I have heard good thing about CMMG and would appreciate any advise or experience you guys would like to share. Thanks, Hill |
