[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CMMG ??

I am building my first Ar-15. I have a few AR rilfes but I wanted to try my hand at building "my" perfect AR. I bought a Bartlett lower with a DPMS parts kit and now need the upper stuff.

So my question is.....is CMMG stuff good? I am looking for a bunch of opinions here. At my times at the range talking with differnet people I got the idea that they were sub quality parts.

Ive only had their barrels and so far so good. I dont know about the rest of their inventory.
