I took my new CMMG 14.5 carbine to the range today to sight in the irons and the Aimpoint clone. I put 200 rounds through it with no problems at all. Using 70s Iraeli surplus 55gr my best group at 50 yds was 1.4 inches with the Aimpoint clone. I like the cowitness of the sights. The next range test will be 62gr Radway and, if I get off my duff and get some, I will try some 75gr TAP.

All in all I am very satisfied with this setup and will probably get an actual Aimpoint when the funds are available.

Very nice!

If you rotate that sight 90 degrees, you can use your support hand to operate it and maintain your master grip.

I have a clonepoint and love it! I have put over a thousand rounds through it with no loss of zero or malfunctions.

I will probably never get a "real" aimpoint now.

Now if I could only find an ACOG clone...
