Like the title says.
CSAT combat sight
Thoughts on this sight. Good, bad, indifferent.
Did a quick search to no avail.

Edited to fix link.

Thanks, so I should stick with my gut feeling and buy a troy or the like?

Another unnecessary upgrade for the AR platform. In CQB situations, it is easier and much quicker to just use your front sight without the aid of the rear sight. This method should acheive Minute of Chest at relatively close distances...

LOL, thank God all the experienced Delta operators on arfcom let me know that this sight is worthless, I might have trusted that huckster if I hadn't seen this thread.

I use an ARMS #40LP and the top of the ghost rings has a similar cutout (although the ghost ring itself is a complete ring) which I believe is designed to work in a similar fashion to that replacement aperature. Since I am used to shooting nose-to-charging-handle, that little cutout on the top is actually very blurry.

That style sight works on a pistol because you're holding it further away from your eye, whereas on the AR15 it's too close to your eye to be used appropriately. YMMV
