For those who use one, can you guys let me know what size cheek riser you prefer the most on the CTR stock?
Its on a BCM 16" Carbine with an Aimpoint compM3 on a Larue LT150. ETA: Never mind, looks like its not even made for use on the AR15 platform because it will interfere with the charging handle. |
| i have two. bought a 1/2" first and it was too high. bought a 1/4" next and its just right. it really depends on how high you're mounting your optic and how tight of a cheek weld you prefer. it will only interfere with the charging handle if you collapse your stock. i'm simply running a red dot and buis on the rifle with my CTR. |

I have a Nikon mounted on my RRA with an Armalite one piece mount which cheek riser would you suggest I use?
Here is the link to the mount. http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=EX0027&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=a14c8168-f1cf-4f11-8859-bafe17a66e1e |

That is the best looking tacticool AK I have ever seen...Looks real solid and not what I usually see when people put different stocks and forends on them. |

That is the best looking tacticool AK I have ever seen...Looks real solid and not what I usually see when people put different stocks and forends on them. Thanks. I wanted to keep it simple, but effective, and affordable. It started as an Armory USA AK with all wood furniture. I replaced the hand guards with the Midwest Industries AK Railed Hand Guard that I bought from Paul at Bravo Company USA. These are very solid. I got the VLTOR Collapsible Butt Stock adapter straight from VLTOR (very well-made and dropped right in). A Magpul MOE Stock when right on with a Cheek Riser. Rail Covers are Magpul XTM's (because they look cool). VFG is a Tango Down Stubby (my favorite) and easily clears the magazine when doing speed reloads. A Surefire G2L in a VTAC Light Mount with one of our TNVC Q5 CREE LED Drop In Lamps and an Insight MRDS tops it off. |

Sweet, makes me want to buy an AK...in keeping this threadically correct, nice CTR riser! I wish Magpul would come up with an "MOE" cheaper alternative to the SOPMOD. |
