For those of you who have a C-More, is it difficult, or expensive to change the diode on the C-More? Mine has either a 6moa or 8moa dot. I had been using it on a 1911 for plate matches. I would like either a 4moa or even a 2moa dot.
Thanks, Jim |

Hey Jim,
Just remove the two allen screws on top of the sight that are closest to the diode module then lift the cover off the sight. The module should just pull straight up and out at that point. There should be a colored dot on the bottom of the diode module that dictates the dot's MOA size. If youre interested you can jump on www.midwayusa.com (Im sure other sites too) and take a look at their modules for sale. The pictures in midway's listings will show the corresponding dot colors along with the MOA dot sizes. Hope that helps. Ken |

Whoops, forgot... the modules run about $50. I havent spent much time shopping around for a deal but I doubt you will find any super savings. http://www.midwayusa.com/Search/#c-more____-_1-2-4_8-16-32_2_16_BrandName%20asc They are out of stock, but backorder is OK. I received a reply from C-More systems. They ahve them- for about $50.00. Now I just need to decide if I want a 2moa or 4moa dot. Jim |
