I think Cage Codes are only 5 digits.

Here is another thread with the same cage code:

"The mags in question are La Belle-made mags sold to Shomer-Tec. The number on the floorplate is the Shomer-Tec part number, not a CAGE code. La Belle supplied magazines to at least a half-dozen companies, including Bushmaster and Armalite/Eagle Arms.

La Belle became D&H industries, who still supplies mags to many different companies.

The number appears to be the US Military Drawing or essentially blueprint number for the USGI Contract M16 magazine. Here's some interesting, but long reading about a court case between Labelle and the US Govt rejecting batches of out of spec mags. It mentions the drawing number several  times.

8448674 is the number of the design drawing that is part of the contract Technical Data Package for the magazine.  The TDP includes design drawings, specifications and quality assurance provisions.  The TDP is part of a contract for the magazine.  Any manufacturer can bid on the contract.  Some of the past manufacturers for this contract were La Belle Industires Inc., Adventure Line Manufacturing/ Parsons Precision Products and Okay Industures.  It looks like a lot of small businesses won this contract but were terminated because they could not meet or maintain the required tolerances.
